Welcome to Pearl Care Dental! If you’re new to our practice, then you’ve come to the right place! Below, you’ll find everything you need to know before scheduling your first appointment. Want to know what to expect during your first visit or if we’ll take your insurance? You’ll find answers to these questions and more below. If you still have a question after reading through everything, don’t hesitate to call us and ask!
During your first appointment, we will complete a comprehensive exam. It will look at the way your teeth function, the overall health of your teeth, gums, and supportive structures, as well as what affects their appearance. We will evaluate the effects of your medications, your daily intake of nutrition, your oral hygiene routine, and your oral habits, then we’ll suggest enhancements in these activities to improve the health of your teeth. We will also do an oral cancer screening, an evaluation of your airway, sleep evaluation, a decay risk analysis, and you can even participate in a thorough review of your teeth using all-digital imagery that includes radiographs and photography. It is important to us that you see the conditions we are talking about in your mouth so you will be able to feel the difference when we institute different treatments.
Our goal for the initial exam is to gather information regarding your mouth, teeth, smile, and overall health so that we can customize a treatment plan just for you. For your upcoming appointment, consider the goals you have for your smile.
Our new patients’ dental experience is very comprehensive, therefore, plan to be in our Ellensburg dental office for one to two hours. In consideration to all of our patients, we see patients by appointment only and make every effort to be on time. Please call in advance so that we may reserve an appointment time for you. We respectfully request two working days’ notice to change appointment times.
Thank you for choosing Pearl Care Dental and allowing us the opportunity to give you reasons to smile!

Pearl Care Dental is an in-network provider with Delta Dental Insurance. However, we proudly accept most insurance plans and will file claims for you. Although we try to maximize benefits, we advise that you not to let your insurance company dictate treatment. As a partner in your oral health, we focus not only on the immediate costs, but also on which treatment or approach will best serve you over the long-term. Unfortunately, that’s not always what your dental insurance covers.
If you currently do not have dental insurance or require a treatment that isn’t covered by your plan, we can help you get hassle-free, low to no interest financing with CareCredit. With a CareCredit plan, your out of pocket cost will be broken up into easy to afford monthly payments. They have a variety of plans that can work for any budget, and to find the right one for you, simply click on the link below.
